Q: IS A DEPOSIT REQUIRED TO RESERVE THE DATE?
A: YES a deposit is required to book any event. Typically a 20% deposit for most events will secure your quote and J&S Catering’s assured services. DEPOSITS are non-refundable.
Q: WHEN DO YOU NEED A FINAL HEAD COUNT?
A: We require a final head count 10-14 days prior to any event. You can up your count 5 days prior to your event.
Q: WHEN DO I HAVE TO PAY THE BALANCE OF MY BILL?
A: Final Payment is DUE 5 Days prior to your event.
Q: DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS?
A: We gladly accept VISA and MasterCard payments.
Q: ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN FEES?
A: Our price quote details all event expenses and the final cost in advance.
Q: IS THE SERVICE CHARGE A GRATUITY?
A: NO! Service charges, if any, will be included in your quote. Any gratuity given to our event staff is your option, though 10-15% of total invoice is a customary amount.
Q: WHAT HAPPENS TO LEFT OVER FOOD?
A: In compliance with the standards set by the Board of Health, prepared left over food must be processed quickly following the event, distributed or disposed of properly.
Q: WHERE DO YOU CATER?
A: Primarily in all communities within a 50 mile radius of Greensboro, High Point, Hickory and the Asheville, NC region.
Q: WHAT TYPE OF FOOD DO YOU DO?
A: Our chefs and food professionals are expert with a multitude of traditional meal favorites and will endeavor to prepare your special request, given adequate insight. If you don’t see it listed, just ask!
Q: I’M GOING TO NEED A TENT, TABLES AND CHAIRS, CAN YOU RECOMMEND ANYONE?
A: YES we have an entire list of vendors who can help from tents, tables, and chairs to sound, lighting systems and DJs.
Q: I DON'T NEED EVERYTHING CATERED. I'M PREPARING MOST ITEMS AND LOOKING FOR A FEW SPECIALTIES TO COMPLETE MY MENU. CAN YOU HELP?
A: ABSOLUTELY! J&S provides an array of delicious prepared food for handy PICK UP service. Items are packaged in heavy duty aluminum pans in whatever quantity you desire. Just make your selection a day in advance (two days for larger orders), give us a time you would like to pick up and we'll have it ready when you arrive.
